HYDRAULIC TAILSTOCK
Pneumatic or hydraulic tailstocks (coupled to a rotary table) are essential for the machining of cylinders and rollers.
The tailstocks are easily positioned by means of the dowels guided inside the “T” slot of the machine orthogonal table. The exit of the M4 – M5 sleeve is operated pneumatically and / or hydraulically (for tables with diameters greater than 250 mm) by means of buttons (or pedal) that activate the exit and withdrawal of the sleeve. The tailstocks can also be operated by CNC with relative “M” codes.
The hydraulic tailstocks require a hydraulic control unit managed by CNC, which is supplied separately.
The size of the tailstock and the height from the center depend on the coupling with the rotary table used. The tailstock generally doubles the load capacity of the turntable.
