
QT 500
The QT 500 lathe is extremely compact and suitable for machining individual parts and small series; simple and inexpensive, it can be used like a traditional lathe, thanks to the electronic flyers that move the axes with a sensitivity of one hundredth of a mm.
The VISEL VSC 1021T CNC, which equips the lathe, has been designed to perform individual operations (turning, threading, tapering, etc…) or complex programs in ISO language. It is also possible to draw a profile directly on the machine, or import it from CAM into .DXF format, and run it directly.
During the “manual” machining phases, the CNC acts as a quota display, a SELF-LEARNING function, memorizes the operator’s actions, trasforming them into an infitely executable program.
The “basic” version includes the 6-position vertical electro-mechanical turret, the self-centering spindle (200 mm diameter) with manual closing; the structure is completely made of MEEHANITE cast iron, guaranteeing high rigidity.
The small dimensions allow the use reducing the used space to the maximum.
