XMX/XMT 1300
The machining centers of the XMX 1300 series with TILTING HEAD and the “XMT” version with integrated rotary table (table in table), have a CONTINUOUS TILTING head (4th axis). The XMT version incorporates a table in table (diameter 620 or 800 mm) embedded in the orthogonal table. The rotation of the head in continuous (±95°) can be tilted in 0.001 ° minimum steps and locked by a hydraulic system for “hardness” work with maximum rigidity.
In both the machines, the head is equipped with an build-in spindle with 12,000 RPM (15 / 18,000 opt.), 21Kw. The table in table has a diameter of 620 or 800 mm, in continuous interpolations (5° axis). In the XMX version (tilting head only) it’s possible to use any type of other tables, and it can be mounted vertically or horizontally which allows to work the pieces in both ways: horizontal and vertical.
